Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate search copy. A direct message gives us only the information you decide to send, which we use to answer that communication.
Automatic Site Information
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated information helps us maintain the service and assess which material is useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
We process the information above to run the service, diagnose faults, count visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy Beyond Our Pages
Links lead to Town, county, and state portals, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is governed by that destination's policy. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support vendors process logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data when valid legal process compels it, but otherwise do not distribute visitor information.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are retained only as long as the stated purposes require. Because there are no visitor accounts, we hold no user password or account profile here.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe someone under 18 submitted such data so it can be deleted.
Your Tennessee Privacy Rights
The Tennessee Information Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยงยง 47-18-3301 et seq., grants covered consumers rights that can include confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability, and specified opt-outs when the law applies to a covered controller. We hold little visitor data, but can check available contact messages and server logs after a request through the Contact page. Government records maintained by Smyrna, Rutherford County, or Tennessee remain outside our control and must be addressed with their custodian.
Changes to This Policy
A revised version will appear here when this policy changes. Using the service after publication signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
